We recommend you walk about Furano's great outdoors on foot in order get a closer feel of the land.
Faster than walking, but slower than driving so you don't miss any of the scenery! For rental cycles see the Furano area access page.
This course will take you around the featured locations from the Northern Country and all the tourist sites in Rokugo. Take the entire day to enjoy the northern scenery.
Because Furano is surrounded by such lush nature, there are so many activities that can be enjoyed in the great outdoors! Be sure to try some during your stay!
For those who "want to see as much in a short time", or "this is the first time in Furano, how do I get around to see everything!", or think "I can't drive on new roads."
There is much to do in Furano besides skiing. Hills, fields and the Tokachi Mountain Range masked in pure white snow create a crisp and beautiful winter scene. Besides making the most of the outdoors playing in the snow, or being creative indoors, another way to enjoy your stay is to sit in a cafe and daydream or soak in a hot spring.
