From Asahikawa

By Car

We recommend asking a local hotel for an English map before trying to find your way to the mountains.

Driving from downtown Asahikawa to Santa Present Park and Kamui Ski Links is not very difficult and the mountains can be reached by following one road from the downtown area. Starting from Midoribashi Dori (Street) drive along 4-jo-dori (Route 39) and it will soon turn into Route 12. Keep driving along Route 12 until you see the ski area you are looking for on your left. All the ski areas in this area are marked by small signs along the road. Santa Present Park and Kamui Ski Links are located on the left-hand side of Route 12.

Santa Present Park is located about 5 minutes out of Asahikawa and Kamui is located about 25 minutes out of Asahikawa.
