Lavender Bus -- New Schedule Details
After many years of remaining the same, the timetable for the heavily used Lavender Bus has been revised as of October 1. What does this mean for you?
A basic summary would be the departures from Furano to Asahikawa have changed only slightly, but the departures from Asahikawa to Furano have changed significantly, which alters the arrivals into the Furano area. This will primarily affect those traveling from Farm Tomita to Furano, and those going to the New Prince Hotel from Furano Station.
Also note that the total number of busses per day has been reduced to 7 (from 8).
The final major change is the addition of a morning bus from Furano Station to the New Prince Hotel. It departs at 9:45, arriving at 10:02. This will be especially convenient for winter visitors looking to get to the slopes earlier in the day.
