Harvest Season & Flowers
As the last of the lavender leaves us, harvest season is in full swing. Currently, carrots are being harvested. Fun to watch. The harvester somehow scoops them up from the ground, chops the green tops off, and puts the carrots into huge bags, which are then offloaded onto tracked dump trucks to move them out of the field. Teamwork all around.
Even though the lavender is nearly finished for the season, there are still plenty of other flowers to enjoy until the first week of October.
